Wayne Cormier

Wayne Cormier is a former proprietor of Cormier Adjusting Ltd, serving the Districts of Muskoka and Parry Sound with offices located in Bracebridge, Huntsville and Parry Sound.  He has 40 years in the insurance adjusting field and 5 years with Sun Alliance & Royal Insurance Company.  Wayne received the Jean Robitaille Community Service Award in 1994 and the William G. Davis Community Volunteer Award in 2008.  He has served 6 years as Councillor for the Town of Parry Sound and is a past Chairman of the Parry Sound Economic Development Commission.  Wayne is also the past President of the Canadian Insurance Adjusters Association (Ontario Chapter), as well as of St. Joseph’s Hospital Board & Founding Trustee of the West Parry Sound Health Centre.  Wayne recently served as Chairman of the Advisory Committee for Canadore College.
