Directions

The Parry Sound Area Development Community encompasses the Municipality of McDougall, the Town of Parry Sound, and Seguin Township. Directions provided below indicate approximate borders and provide directions to each Municipal Office. 

From Barrie

Take Highway 400 North for 7 km. Keep right and exit onto Highway 400 North to Highway 69/Parry Sound/Sudbury. Follow Highway 400 for approximately 100 km to the Parry Sound Area Development Community.

Municipality of McDougall Municipal Office: Continue north on Highway 400 for approximately 26 km. Continue on Highway 69 for 6.4 km. Turn right onto Barager Boulevard. The Municipal Office is located on the right after 0.3 km at 5 Barager Boulevard.

Town of Parry Sound Municipal Office: Continue north along Highway 400 for approximately 24 km. Take Exit 224 and merge onto Bowes Street towards Parry Sound. Follow Bowes Street for 2.9 km and continue onto Seguin Street for 0.4 km. The Parry Sound Municipal Office is located on the left at 52 Seguin St.

Seguin Township Municipal Office: Continue along Highway 400 North for approximately 5 km. Take Exit 207 and merge onto Highway 141 towards Huntsville/ Rosseau. Continue for 5 km then turn right to stay on Highway 141. Continue on Highway 141 for 2 km. Turn right onto Humphrey Drive. The Municipal Office is located on the left at 5 Humphrey Drive.

From North Bay

Take Highway 11 South for 69 km. Exit right onto Highway 124. Continue west Highway 124 for approximately 60 km to the Parry Sound Area Development Community.

Municipality of McDougall Municipal Office: Continue west on Highway 124 for approximately 5 km. Turn left onto Barager Boulevard. The Municipal Office is located on the left at 5 Barager Boulevard.

Town of Parry Sound Municipal Office: Continue west on Highway 124 for approximately 16 km. Follow the road onto Parry Sound Drive for 2.3 km, onto Joseph Street for 0.9 km, and then onto Church Street for 1.1 km. Follow the street bend left onto Seguin Street. The Municipal Office is located on the right at 52 Seguin Street.  

Seguin Township Municipal Office: Continue west on Highway 124 for approximately 15.4 km. Turn right onto the ramp to Highway 69 South. Merge onto Highway 69/Transcanada Highway and continue for 18.2 km. Take Exit 213 and merge right onto Highway 69/ Rankin Lake Road. Follow Highway 69 for 3.3 km. Turn left at Highway 141 and continue east for 2 km. Turn left onto Humphrey Drive. The Municipal Office is located on the left at 5 Humphrey Drive.  

From Ottawa

Take Highway 417 West/Trans Canada Highway West for 116 km. Turn left at CR-8/ Main Street and continue for 12.5 km. Take Highway 60 West for 219 km. Merge onto Highway 11 South towards Toronto and follow for 16.5km. Take Exit 207 and merge onto Highway 141 toward Utterson/ Parry Sound. Continue west on Highway 141 for approximately 32 km to the Parry Sound Area Development Community.

Seguin Township Municipal Office: Continue west on Highway 141 for approximately 16 km. Turn left onto Humphrey Drive. The Municipal Office is located on the left at 5 Humphrey Drive.

Town of Parry Sound Municipal Office: Continue west on Highway 141 for approximately 18 km. Turn right onto Highway 69 and follow for 2.2 km. Merge onto Highway 400 N/Highway 69 N/Trans Canada Highway W and continue for 13.5 km. Take Exit 224 to merge onto Bowes Street towards Parry Sound. Follow Bowes Street. for 2.9 km and continue onto Seguin Street for 0.4 km. The Parry Sound Municipal Office is located on the left at 52 Seguin Street.

Municipality of McDougall Municipal Office: Continue west on Highway 141 for approximately 18 km. Turn right onto Highway 69 and follow for 2.2 km. Merge onto Highway 400 N/ Highway 69 N/ Trans Canada Highway W and continue for 21.4 km. Turn right at Barager Boulevard. The Municipal Office is located on the right after 0.3 km at 5 Barager Boulevard.

From Toronto

Take Highway 401 West for 6.5 km. Exit onto Highway 400 North towards Barrie. Continue on Highway 400 North for 83.5 km. Keep right and follow Highway 400 North to Highway 69/Parry Sound/Sudbury for approximately 100 km to the Parry Sound Area Development Community.

Municipality of McDougall Municipal Office: Continue north on Highway 400 for approximately 26 km until it changes to Highway 69 North. Continue on Highway 69 North for 6.4 km. Turn right onto Barager Boulevard. The Municipal Office is located on the right after 0.3 km at 5 Barager Boulevard.

Town of Parry Sound Municipal Office: Continue north along Highway 400 for approximately 24 km. Take Exit 224 to merge onto Bowes Street towards Parry Sound. Follow Bowes St. for 2.9 km and continue onto Seguin Street for 0.4 km. The Parry Sound Municipal Office is located on the left at 52 Seguin St.

Seguin Township Municipal Office: Continue along Highway 400 North for approximately 5 km. Take Exit 207 to merge onto Highway 141 towards Huntsville/ Rosseau. From Sudbury

Take Highway 69 South for approximately 150 km to the Parry Sound Area Development Community.

Municipality of McDougall Municipal Office: Continue south on Highway 69 for 5.5 km. Turn right onto Barager Boulevard. The Municipal Office is located on the left at 5 Barager Boulevard.

Town of Parry Sound Municipal Office: Continue south along Highway 69 for 8 km. Exit onto Parry Sound Drive towards Parry Sound. Continue onto Parry Sound Drive for 2.3 km, onto Joseph Street for 0.9km, and then onto Church Street for 1.1 km. Follow the street bend left onto Seguin Street. The Municipal Office is located on the right at 52 Seguin Street. 

Seguin Township Municipal Office: Continue south on Highway 69/Highway 400 for 26 km. Take Exit 213 and merge right onto Highway 69/ Rankin Lake Road. Continue on Highway 69 for 3.3 km.
