The Parry Sound Area Development Community's cultural highlight is the spectacular Charles W. Stockey Center, a 480 seat venue which hosts the renowned Festival of Sound and year round programming. The center is surrounded by a community rich in art, culture and history. The art community has numerous artisans hosting independent galleries year round while collaborating on large scale events including the Art in the Park annual festival. Local museums, including the West Parry Sound District Museum and the Humphrey School House Museum, preserve and display the community's history while the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame chronicles the more recent rise of the community's hockey legend.
