REDAC has been established under the provision of the 2006 Area Economic Development Strategy: Partners in Economic Prosperity and acts as an advisory committee to the Municipal Councils. Their mandate includes updating and implementing the area economic development plan, preparing annual economic progress reports, developing and implementing an area marketing plan, and increasing communication with local businesses, investors and developers.
