REDAC would like to thank CMHC representative Adrienne Keyzer, and her panel of experts for making this event a success.

Tired of living in your parents basement? Throwing rent out the window?

Did you know?
1) A first time home buyer may not have to pay land transfer tax on their first home (savings of up to $2000)
2) You may qualify for a forgivable loan of up to 10% of the cost of your new home from the Provincial Government. (On a $250,000 home that is saving of up to $25,000!!!!)

CMHC in partnership with the Regional Economic Development Advisory Committee (REDAC) is hosting an educational seminar on how to buy your own home.

CMHC will invite a panel of local people that would assist you in buying your home. In attendance will be:
A major lender from the area
A mortgage specialist
A real estate lawyer
A Realtor
A home inspector

Together these local representatives will inform you on what you need to buy your own house as well as grants that are available towards your purchase.

Even if you're not quite ready to take the plunge into purchasing a home just yet this is a one time opportunity to learn where to start and how to reasonably afford a home.

We also have fantastic door prizes donated from:
McNabb Lumber
Home Depot
RONA
Mark's Work Warehouse

This event will be held on September 15th 2009 from 7pm-9pm at the Station Gallery located at 1 Avenue Rd. in Parry Sound, Ontario.
